Nestled in the heart of Waukee, Iowa, Schade Creek Winery opens in 2011. The winery combines old world style with new world taste to create premium varietal wine. The winery favors producing wine that is exciting for its freshness – wines that burst with flavor. We try to showcase the distinct characteristics of the varietals included in the blend through extensive blending, oak aging, and different vinification techniques.
The winery’s old world charm and grace will transport you from the middle of Iowa to the foothills of Tuscany. Sit on the “Fountain Terrace” patio overlooking the vineyard and soon-to-be completed pond with fountain. Enjoy the music and meet new friends – or catch up with old ones! The winery is the perfect venue for the Wine'd Down Sundays series scheduled from April through October.
